We’re just a 15-minute stroll from Hitchin Train Station and only a couple of minutes from the town square, making us the perfect pit stop whether you’re spending the day exploring the town, heading to an event at Hitchin Priory, or simply escaping the kitchen for the evening.
Getting here is easy, too. With St Mary’s Square, Portmill Lane East and West car parks all nearby, you’re never far from a cold drink and a plate of barbecue.
Speaking of good times, our Hitchin restaurant is also home to one of the town’s favourite shuffleboard tables. Whether you’re settling a long-running rivalry, celebrating a birthday, entertaining colleagues, or just looking for something a bit more exciting than staring at your phone between courses, we’ve got you covered. Fair warning though: things can get surprisingly competitive.
And when the sun decides to make an appearance, our outdoor space comes into its own. Grab a craft beer, order a round of cocktails, load the table with barbecue, and make an afternoon of it. With room for 50 people, it’s one of our favourite spots to spend a sunny day – and judging by how quickly the tables fill up, we’re not the only ones.
